What got you into this business in the first place? To learn about different topics and become an expert in some of them.
Who was a big influence in your career? My father. He showed me how not to be satisfied with only one answer.
What was "your finest moment," the thing you're most proud of? There have been a lot, especially those which evidence professional growth.
What was your most embarrassing moment in business? Confessing to John, the irresponsible act of jumping the fence to open the door of the office for a co-worker who needed something urgent for a business trip.
Is there a great client story you'd care to share? The Amtrak Hispanic Micro Site ready. It was a great challenge and thanks to the effort and collaboration of the Hispanic team we were able to have it ready on time!
What attracted you to IMAGES? The opportunity to learn about different cultures. To experience diversity!
Do you have a method for coming up with ideas and solutions for clients? I like to write down everything that crosses my mind in a piece of paper, research and then start organizing them. Later, mold them according to the issue. I also like to think in all the different scenarios of each situation to have a comprehensive look at the problem.
What makes a great brand? A brand that is honest about its services or benefits and that cares for the people and I don’t mean exactly charity.
What driving career goals do you still have? Get experience in different areas of communication.
What talent do you wish you had? A lot of flexibility to be part of Cirque du Soleil.
If you had to live on a desert island, what would you miss most? Interacting with people
Is there any food that helps you think more creatively? Breakfast on Fridays! … jaja. A good cup of coffee, Colombian, of course.
What's your favorite sports team? I really enjoy when the Colombian soccer team plays and when Juan Pablo Montoya, NASCAR.
What frustrates you the most? Unfairness. When people is badly treated. When there’s no respect…
Tell us about your pets? I don’t have any pets. I live in a small condo.
What was growing up like for you? It was great, surrounded by my parents, my brother and sister, all my cousins, aunts, uncles and friends sharing a lot of fun moments.
What's your favorite TV program? And your least favorite? I don’t have cable. Instead, we rent a lot of movies, specially independent films and documentaries.
What do you do for a good time...when you're not working? I go everyday to Dance 101 to do what I enjoy the most. Dance! Afterwards I have dinner with my husband and watch movies. I also get together with other friends for dinner and drinks on the weekends.
What was college like for you? It was good to have the feeling of adult life, believing that I was on my own, being responsible. But that was nothing compared to the feeling when I first started to work in an office… that’s adult life.
What are your favorite internet sites? The news (El Tiempo – Colombia / AJC and USA Today, sometimes New York Times) Google, to look for everything I need and lately, Facebook, where I can be in touch with friends I have not seen since middle and high school.
