Robert L. McNeil Jr.
President & Chief Executive Officer

What got you into this business in the first place? I was in college at GA Tech where I had created several minority-recruiting programs. In my third year President John Patrick “Pat” Crecine handed me a list of top 20 corporate donors and told me I needed to start raising money to pay for the recruiting programs. So I began to go out to Corporate America and help them make meaningful connections with potential candidates while helping the institution graduate more Black engineers than any other school in the country.
Who was a big influence in your career? My Grandfather founded the first African American bank in the Southeast and my Dad was the first Black registered licensed physical therapist in the State of GA. I guess you could say the shoes were already very “Big.”
What was "your finest moment," the thing you're most proud of? Organizing a peaceful civil rights demonstration in high school to convince our administration that was should obey the law and observe Dr. Martin Luther Kings birthday as a national holiday (with a little help form the media of course).
What was your most embarrassing moment in business? Falling asleep at 3:20 AM in a briefing with a 3 Star General.
Is there a great client story you'd care to share? Too many to share! Besides, a great story is told in person.
What attracted you to IMAGES? I always wanted to work in an environment with smart, talented and extremely caring and understanding people who at the end of the day, get it done!
Do you have a method for coming up with ideas and solutions for clients? I tend to wake up in the middle of the night and write down a big idea. The real challenge is reading my handwriting the next morning.
What makes a great brand? A consistently exceptional purchase experience at a valued driven price.
What driving career goals do you still have? A college friend & I always dreamed of opening a dive shop in a warm place south of the equator.
If you had to live on a desert island, what would you miss most? Family.
Is there any food that helps you think more creatively? Any food is a good thing.
What's your favorite sports team? GA Tech when they are winning. UGA when they are not :-)
What frustrates you the most? For the moment…Mike Vick
Tell us about your pets? Simba (3 year old sheltie) and about 30 African Ciclids.
What was growing up like for you? Loved every minute. Learned a lot of life long lessons from awesome people.
What's your favorite TV program? And your least favorite? CNBC Squawk Box...Nancy Grace
What do you do for a good time...when you're not working? Snow ski or scuba dive.
What was college like for you? The beginning of forming some great relationships I will cherish forever.
What are your favorite internet sites? CNN, AOL Black Voices.

Always keep God first, Family second & and everything else will fall into order in your life.
