What got you into this business in the first place? Multicultural Marketing was my need to help society understand the differences when connecting with different cultures. We are constantly bombarded with different messages and visuals every day but which one truly speaks to you? And connects to your culture?
Who was a big influence in your career? My sister, who always told me to follow my dreams and innate skills no matter what…
What was "your finest moment," the thing you're most proud of? I am truly most proud of not giving up, and always being thankful for what I have and where I am.
Is there a great client story you'd care to share? Once, we were presenting Hispanic creative to a client, and they thought it was so great, we made them gasp.
What attracted you to IMAGES? It is the perfect mix! Art, Technology and a new project everyday; and all of this combined with a great team of people.
Do you have a method for coming up with ideas and solutions for clients? Always be on the side of the consumer and assume their complete identity. This allows my creativity to flourish guided by the consumer’s needs.
What makes a great brand? A brand that understands its consumers, never stops selling.
What driving career goals do you still have? I’d like to keep expanding my creativity as I grow in my career, learn new skills and technologies and get a graduate degree in a field where I can excel.
What talent do you wish you had? I wish I had learned to play the piano.
If you had to live on a desert island, what would you miss most? My family.
Is there any food that helps you think more creatively? Chocolate gives me that extra happiness when designing a new idea.
What's your favorite sports team? I don’t have one, but sometimes I watch the Yankees.
What frustrates you the most? People who complain and/or conform, I mean did they forget we all have a choice? A choice to go on and search for what makes us truly happy.
Tell us about your pets? Maya, a 50lb pit-bull that thinks she’s a baby and loves to sit on my lap. Coco, a Jack Russell Terrier who is super hyper and is obsessed with shadows and red lasers. Finally, Akira, a 10-year-old sweet Calico cat whose worse enemy is the Jack Russell.
What was growing up like for you? Wonderful, I was fortunate to have loving and supportive parents, two great siblings and lucky to have been born in another country and moved to the US at an early age where I was able to adapt never forgetting where I came from…
What's your favorite TV program? And your least favorite? My favorite right now is anything on HGTV.
What do you do for a good time...when you're not working? Watch movies, design, go dancing, hang out with friends.
What was college like for you? College was a lot of fun. I was able to study what I truly wanted. I loved all my art and design classes.
